Tonight, THE BIG PELF became a man.
It was a Bar Mets-vah of sorts for Mike Pelfrey who led the Mets to a 6-0 win over the Nationals.

All the Mets beat reporters are reporting on their blogs that Jose Reyes is a no-go for tonight, as is Nationals’ C Paul LoDuca. On Sunday, LoDuca got hit in the right hand by a pitch.
UPDATE: Reyes is back tonight and batting first, with Ryan Church second, Angel Pagan sixth, and Luis Castillo eighth.
