Sherman’s just upset that he and the rest of the columnists/journalist/media out there had to wait around a couple of hours to get confirmation of a story. Their time is precious and there are deadlines to meet. Shame on the Mets for not adhering to Sherman’s schedule.

I thought the dumber thing he said there was that once they get Murphy and Beltran back, they can compete with everyone else.

Beltran coming back makes me feel better than Murphy (think how nicely he’ll fill that void of a first baseman the Mets have right now). But facts indicate that Carlos Beltran is nowhere near being back. I’ve seen Tommy John surgery patients return to action quick than Beltran if you count all the time missed last year.

It is in one of the new brick sections to the right of the Rotunda, sort of in front of the HOF Museum but closer to the Subway than the stadium
