In a strange turn of events, the Mets actually won a game thanks to an error.
The D-Backs’ 1B Connor Jackson airmailed a throw way over 2B Chris Burke’s head in the 9th allowing Carlos Beltran to score the go-ahead run from 2B in what was a 2-2 tie the 9th inning.
