Adam Rubin is reporting in today’s Daily News that the Mets are shopping Aaron Heilman and are looking for a set-up man.
Good luck with that.

Yet again, Adam Rubin is on top of another story. He is reporting on his Daily News Surfing The Mets blog that Nelson Figueroa has cleared waivers and will report to AAA New Orleans.
No word yet on Jorge Sosa, who the Mets are trying to trade and has not yet been put on waivers.

4:20 PM UPDATE: WFAN is reporting that everything below has occurred exactly as Rubin reported earlier. With the exception of the Sosa-Smith situation, I still feel this team culture’s in infected with mediocrity.
