Brain Schneider told WFAN Joe Beningo & Evan Roberts today that he will be available tonight to be the backup catcher.
Since Schneider was not on the DL, when Moises Alou is ready to be activated from the DL (should be tonight), current backup catcher Gustavo Molina will be sent back down to AAA New Orleans.

Great call on the Schneider pic. As a kid of a divorced parent at the time that show came on the air, i pretty much watched it every week. I had a huge crush on Valerie Bertanelli, and Bonnie Franklin was the original MILF.
The only disturbing thing is that Schneider looks a lot younger in that picture than I remember him being. It can’t be that I’ve gotten old, can it?
