The upstart Mets won their third straight game on Thursday, beating the Dodgers 8-4 on the strength of David Wright’s pair of two run HRs.

First baseman Keith Hernandez Carlos Delgado made a great diving stab at a ball going up the 1B line in the 4th inning. Delegado flipped the ball to starting pitcher Claudio Vargas to get the 3rd out of the
inning.

This Delgado kid is going to be a big star, remember that you heard it first on Metsie.
